Oklahoma Representative Ken Luttrell to Seek Final Term

Rep. Ken Luttrell has announced he will seek a final term in office.
Luttrell stated “I have filed to continue serving the citizens of Kay and Osage counties as your State Representative. It is a privilege and honor to represent north central Oklahoma, your families and businesses. I take very seriously the responsibility and trust you have placed in me. I pledge I will continue fighting to protect, preserve and renew our Oklahoma values and insure you have a common sense voice at the Capitol. I am committed to serving you, the people of District 37 and the rest of our state. My vote will always reflect what I believe is best for the most people based on the feedback you give me. Every decision I make is in consideration of how this will affect your business, community, children and grandchildren. I want our youth to prosper, thrive and stay in Oklahoma.”
Luttrell and Brenda, his wife of 37 years, have two daughters, Shannon and Lauren, their spouses, 3 grandsons and a granddaughter all residing in Ponca City. The family attends First Baptist Church.
A long time public servant, Luttrell has served his community as a board member of Main Street, The Literacy Council, Airport Advisory Board, Kaw Lake Association, Ponca City Planning Commission, Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. He presently serves on the board of the Poncan Theater Foundation.
A US Army Veteran, Rep. Luttrell is a life member of the American Legion, Vietnam Veterans of America, and the Disabled American Veterans. He is a proud member of AMBUCS, and the Elks fraternal organizations.
Now serving his 10th year in the legislature, he is appointed to the National Energy Council, the Governors One Oklahoma Task Force, serves on the Executive Committee of the National Caucus of Native American State Legislators, Vice Chair of the Center for Legislative Energy and Environmental Research and as co-chair of the Oklahoma House of Representatives Native American Caucus. He was honored this year by the State Veterans Council as Legislator of the year and received the Conservative Achievement Award from the Conservative Political Action Committee.
He serves in the House as Chairman of the Select Agencies Committee and on the Energy and Natural Resources, Veterans and Military Affairs and Appropriations and Budget Committees.
