Ponca City Juvenile Arrested on Several Charges

On the morning of April 16, shortly before 5:00 am, the Ponca City Police Department received information that a confirmed stolen vehicle was travelling through Osage County and approaching Ponca City.

PCPD Patrol Officers, along with an Osage County Deputy, attempted to stop the vehicle on South Avenue in Ponca City. A pursuit ensued and the driver of the stolen vehicle eventually crashed near the intersection of 14th St. and Highland. The driver exited the vehicle and, after a short foot pursuit, a 16 year old juvenile was arrested for multiple charges.

One of the involved officers sustained minor injuries as a result of the pursuit.

The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
