Car, train collide in Noble County

A 2006 Chevy truck driven by Terry Leonard, 71, of Perry, Okla., collided with a Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway train at 9:02 a.m. Wednesday.

The collision occurred on County Road Frontier a half mile west of County Road 90, three miles south of Perry in Noble County.

Leonard was transported by Perry EMS to Lifenet EMS, then transported by ambulance to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in stable condition.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Leonard failed to yield to the train. Leonard was eastbound on Frontier and the train was northbound.
