Celebrating Dr. Seuss

Ponca City Now - March 3, 2015 2:55 pm

Woodlands Elementary kicked off Dr. Seuss week by wearing red and white and enjoying a visit from author, Jefferson Knapp. Pictured behind students is a 25 ft. animatron python that represents a character in the book series "Kingdom at the End of the Driveway." Students were entertained by a slide show and humorous presentation sharing how a book can begin in your imagination and end up with your name as the author on the book jacket.
