OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Former Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating will deliver the keynote address at the Oklahoma Republican Party’s Gala Dinner next month.

A two-term Republican governor who served from 1995-2003, Keating will headline the April 10 event, dubbed the "Road to the White House." The Oklahoma Republican Party State Convention will be the following day in Oklahoma City.

Keating served as governor when Democrats controlled both the Oklahoma House and Senate.

After his two terms as governor, Keating served first as president of the American Council of Life Insurers, a trade association, and since 2011 as president and chief executive officer of the American Bankers Association.
