Ashlee Cheatham, 19, had to appear in court on Monday for five charges: possession of child porn, child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, unlawful access to a computer, and unlawful possession of a controlled drug.

According to court records, Cheatham’s hearing will be postponed until January 8, 2024.

Cheatham also had a hearing on a victim protective that was filed against her by the victims.

The court granted the protective order, which will remain in effect for five years.

Back in August, Cheatham’s boyfriend at the time went to the Stillwater Police Department to tell law enforcement that he went through her phone while she was sleeping and found disturbing images and videos of his three-year-old daughter.

The man told police he had recently met her online from the Oklahoma City area, and she became his girlfriend and moved in with him.

When the news first broke out, many people looked her up on social media. Her Facebook bio said she was employed as a paraprofessional at Nicoma Park Elementary.

Fox25 reached out to the school’s superintendent to see how true it was. Below is a statement from Superintendent David Reid:

Ashlee Cheatham was in the process of being hired by the district for the current school year (2023-24). All employees are required to do a federal background check as a part of the hiring process. Before that process was completed, a mutual decision to terminate the hiring process was made. Ms. Cheatham never worked for the district, never received a paycheck, and has never been with any of our students.
