Oklahoma State head football coach Mike Gundy announced Alan Bowman will start for the Cowboys when the team takes the field on Friday against Kansas State.

Bowman, a senior, has thrown for 513 yards this season, as well as two touchdowns and three interceptions. Those touchdowns and two of his three interceptions were against Iowa State in the Cowboys 27-34 loss to the Cyclones.

Both teams were on a Bye Week for Week 5, but the last time the two met, the Wildcats snapped the Cowboys three year winning streak against Kansas State, shutting out the Cowboys 48-0.

The Cowboys take the field, and have their chance for redemption, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
