Agee Named Head Girls Wrestling Coach

Richard Agee has been named the new girls wrestling coach for Ponca City Public Schools for the 2023-2024 school year.
Richard has been employed with PCPS since 2018. He teaches geography at West Middle School and has been a wrestling, football and baseball coach while employed at PCPS. Prior to that he taught at Blackwell Public Schools and coached football, wrestling and baseball.
He graduated from Perry High School and received his associate’s degree from Garden City Community College and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Central State University in 1999.
“This is truly the best job in the school district,” said Richard. “I look forward to some big things with these girls.”
Athletic Director Joe Turner said, “I am excited to announce the hiring of Richard Agee as our head girls wrestling coach. Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the program. He understands the importance of building an inclusive culture in our girls’ wrestling program and of maintaining high academic standards with success on and off the mat. I look forward to seeing where he takes the girl’s wrestling program!”
