TULSA, Okla. (AP) – A former Oklahoma deputy who faces charges of sexual battery and other counts is due in court for a preliminary hearing.

Former Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputy Gerald Nuckolls is charged with three counts of sexual battery and single counts of outraging public decency and indecent exposure.

Prosecutors say Nuckolls sexually assaulted at least two women while on duty. He has pleaded not guilty.

Nuckolls is due in court Friday morning for a hearing to determine whether there is enough evidence to order him to stand trial.
