"Forever Plaid" starring (l-r) Chad Anderson, Chris Schelp, Eddie Dixon and Ryan Smykil held over at the Ponca Playhouse, 301 South First.

The Ponca Playhouse, 301 South First Street, has announced additional performances of “Forever Plaid”.
Ponca Playhouse staff and performers were so thrilled and overwhelmed at the wonderful response to “Forever Plaid” after a totally sold out first weekend, they have decided to offer 2 more performances this weekend.
Suitable for all ages, “Forever Plaid” by Stuart Ross is a musical journey down memory lane.
It tells the story of four high school chums whose dreams of stardom are changed in one unforgettable night.
This close-harmony, lushly harmonic revue pays tribute to musical idols of the 1950s like The Four Freshmen, The Four Aces and more. With unforgettable songs like “Three Coins In the Fountain,” “Sixteen Tons,” and “Love Is a Many Splendored Thing” the Plaids will have you swinging, swaying and swooning along to the gorgeous music of yesteryear.
“Forever Plaid” is a summer fundraiser and is not included as part of the Ponca Playhouse regular season.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 19 and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 20.
Tickets are now available on our website at www.poncaplayhouse.com
Special thanks to sponsors, Mertz Manufacturing, Spray’s Jewelry & Gifts, and Mr. Hugh Pickens.
