‘Dinner for Diesel’ March 7

A Chicken Noodle "Dinner for Diesel" will be held from noon to 6 p.m. March 7 at the Tonkawa Masonic Lodge, 112 North 7th Street.

Tickets are $5 per person and the proceeds will go to the Diesel McGuire family to help with the 6-year-old boy’s medical costs. He was injured in a motorcycle accident Jan. 23 which claimed the life of his aunt, Joleen Wilson. Diesel was transported by helicopter to Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City with multiple injuries.

Diesel is the son of Myha Wilson and Jarrod McGuire.

The dinner is sponsored by Osage Hills ABATE of Oklahoma and the Tonkawa Masonic Lodge #157.
