Three jailed in drug arrests

Ponca City Police arrested three people Wednesday after executing a search warrant in the 500 block of South Perry.

More than 18 grams of hydro marijuana were seized, a few pipes and a water bong, along with $2,661 in drug proceeds, according to police spokeswoman Sherry Bowers.

Ronald D Galcatcher, 31 of Ponca City, is being held on complaints of possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Antonio M Bernabe, 33, also of Ponca City, is being held on complaints of possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug proceeds and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, pills, within 1,000 feet of a park.

Also arrested was Kyra D Russell, 21, of Blackwell. She is being held on complaints of possession of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a park, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, meth, within 1,000 feet of a park.

The investigation is continuing and more charges are likely, Bowers said.
