STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – Contractors who did renovation work on Oklahoma State University’s football stadium have agreed to pay $700,000 to settle a lawsuit.

The university sued several contractors after plumbing system failures caused the smell of sewage to permeate the stadium’s locker room four years ago.

The school will use the settlement money to repay the insurers who paid for the initial repairs.
