Ponca City Noon Ambucs, in collaboration with Rikki’s Market, held a hamburger fundraiser to raise funds to purchase a new vent hood for the grill at the Ponca City Ambucs Motocross Track.
Motocross races are and have been the main source of fundraising for the organization.
Some of the funds raised by the Noon Ambucs, in conjunction the local chapter of Ambuc Charity Angels, provide local residents with Amtrykes.
These adaptive tricycles are designed to accommodate riders of all ages, with a myriad of physical and/or developmental impairments, the opportunity to independently ride a bicycle that they otherwise wouldn’t be able to.
At the event, the organization presented local resident Noah Forristal, son of Kylie and Ben Forristal, with his very first Amtryke. Noah was diagnosed as a toddler with Fragile X Syndrome and Autism.
Being a recipient of the Amtyke will allow Noah to enjoy bike rides with big sister Maddie.
