VITA volunteers offer tax help at library

Ponca City Now - February 2, 2015 7:31 am

The VITA volunteer tax preparers will be at the Ponca City Library to assist individuals filing state and federal tax forms Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

They cannot take questions over the phone.

Both the state and the federal government are shifting to electronic filing and are mailing fewer paper forms this year. Most forms and instructions are available online at www.taxok.gov and www.irs.gov.

Limited numbers of forms are available in the Ponca City Library foyer in the west end of the building.
