New Ponca City High School Assistant Principal Named

Ponca City Senior High School

Shareé Madsen has been hired as a new assistant principal at Ponca City High School. She has 23 years of public education, alternative education, and Career and Technical Education experience.
She is currently employed with the South Central Kansas Special Education Cooperative in Pratt, Kan. and teaches special education to 7th-12th grade students. She has teaching experience in business and computers, special education, STEM and more.
She has been on the Board of Trustees for the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System, a member of the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System Audit Committee, Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System Governance Committee, Oklahoma State Department of CareerTech Accreditation Examiner and many other leadership roles.
She received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, a Master of Science in Management from Friends University, a Master of Science in Educational Administration from Emporia State University, a Master of Science, Special Education, Mild/Moderate from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Certificate in Leadership in Special and Inclusive Education from the University of Kansas.
“I believe that PCPS offers many great opportunities for students and staff,” she said. “I am very excited to be part of the Wildcat family and Ponca City community.”
