Linda Sue (Neely) Arnold
June 21, 1949 ~ March 24, 2023 (age 73)
Linda Sue Arnold, 73, of Ponca city has gone to heaven. She was born on June 21, 1949 in Ralston, OK to John Pete Neely and his wife Media Bell Davis Neely. She attended Ralston school until the 2nd grade when the family moved to Ponca City. She graduated from Ponca City High School in 1968. After high school, she attended Ponca City Beauty College where she earned her beautician’s license.
She married the love of her life, Isaac Arnold, on July 30, 1981 at Faith Tabernacle Church of Ponca City. Linda was a devoted mother, sister, and wife. She was honest, had a strong work ethic, and quick witted. She loved her family and had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. She enjoyed time at the farm, cheering her loved ones on from the stands, music, and watching her shows. She was passionate about what she believed in and didn’t have a problem letting you know.
She leaves behind daughter Kim Mayhall and her wife Kelli, son Thad Burns and his wife Kristi, son Kyle Arnold and his wife Megan, son Brent Arnold and his wife Taylor, son John Drew Arnold, daughter-in-law Sissy Arnold, son Jerry Arnold and his wife Rhonda, daughter Sandy Hasenfratz and her husband Troy, son Mike Arnold and his wife Lacy, grandchildren: Magon and her husband Lane, Cody and his wife Kaylee, Conner, Chance, Emily and her husband Hayden, Kimbree, Kamdyn and her husband Mason, Jeremy, Peyton, Marek, River, Alli, Kree, Piper, Emmi Jo, Rayleen, Faith, Roxy, Max, Michelle, Matthew and his wife Savannah, Kelci, Haley, and Shelby. Great grandchildren: Adalaine, Cooper, Mayci, Nolan, Teagyn, Talissa and Hollyn. Sister -in-law Ellen Neely, sister Joyce Epperson, sister Pam Savage and her husband James, numerous nieces and nephews as well as best friend Trudy McFarland.
She was reunited in heaven with her parents John and Media Neely, husband Isaac Arnold, son Greg Arnold, granddaughter Talia Arnold, great granddaughter Lottie Hoffman, brother Marvin Neely, sister Betty Myers, brother Jim Neely, sister Pat Brown and her husband Jimmy Don, sister Ruby Cauthon and her husband Dean, brother Johnny Neely, brother Chuck Neely, nieces Ruby Dawn Cauthon and Lisa Savage.
Friends are welcome to stop by Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City on Friday, March 31st from 8am-5pm, and again on Saturday, April 1st from 10am-2pm to pay their respects. Family will be at the funeral home on Sunday, April 2nd from 2pm-4pm to receive guests.
Funeral Services will begin at 2pm on Monday, April 3rd at Faith Tabernacle Church of Ponca City. Minister Don Stanton will officiate. Pallbearer’s will include Kyle Arnold, Brent Arnold, Drew Arnold, and Thad Burns. Honorary bearers will include the grandchildren.
Burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery of Ponca City.
