Hearing set today in 1992 murders

BRISTOW, Okla. (AP) – A hearing is scheduled for an Oklahoma man facing a charge related to the 1992 deaths of two women and a girl whose bodies were found in a hole dug for a septic tank.
Court records indicate Grover Prewitt Jr. has a hearing Wednesday in Creek County District Court.
Prewitt was charged after the bodies of Wendy Camp; her 6-year-old daughter, Cynthia Britto; and Camp’s sister-in-law, Lisa Kregear, were found buried on land that Prewitt and his late mother owned at separate times in the 1990s. Prewitt says he’s not guilty.
In a deal reached with prosecutors last week involving the same case, Prewitt’s sister, Beverly Noe, was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading no contest to being an accessory to first-degree murder in the three deaths.
