OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — A bill that would allow Oklahomans to register their vehicle every two years instead of annually advanced on Monday.
House Bill 2011 would apply to all vehicles other than manufactured homes, vehicles with a permanent non-expiring license plate, and certain commercial vehicles.
“This is a commonsense approach that will save the average Oklahoman time and create greater convenience when having to renew their personal vehicle registration,” said Rep. Dean Davis, who authored the measure. “We’ve taken steps in recent years to ease this process, and this is just a continuation of those efforts.”
The bill is now eligible to be considered by the full House A&B Committee.
