Ponca City Public Schools - January 30, 2023 7:03 am

Ponca City PD Sgt. Kincaid talks to WMS students about crime scene investigation.

West Middle School seventh grade Gifted and Talented students participated in a crime scene class with Sgt. Kincaid.

During this class they learned how officers process burglary scenes and basic duties they perform.

The class focused mainly on finger printing technique.

The students also got to practice on a staged burglary scene in the science lab.

They are going to use the fingerprints they collected from the “crime scene” to try and figure out which staff burglarized the science lab.
