Jake Flint, an Oklahoma-born country artist, has unexpectedly died at age 37 as confirmed by his wife and longtime manager on social media.

His death occurred unexpectedly, mere hours after his wedding, which took place on Saturday, November 26.

Flint’s manager, Brenda Cline, shared the news on Facebook late last night, stating:

“I loved him much like a son. The funniest, most hilarious, hardest working, dedicated artist I have ever worked with in my career. We need prayers- it’s all so surreal. Please please pray for his new wife Brenda, Jake’s precious mother, his sister, and the rest of his family and friends. This is going to be incredibly difficult for so many. We love you Jake and in our hearts forever. ”

At this time, the cause of death has not been determined. Cline shared on Facebook that Flint’s family and friends are trying to process this news, she says in a comment:

“I don’t know what to do at this point. We wait for news and unite in prayer.”

Flint’s new wife, Brenda Wilson, took to social media to share video footage from the couple’s wedding day, captioning the post, “I don’t understand.”
