One Book, One District Begins Tuesday in Ponca City

Beginning November 1, Ponca City Elementary Schools, East Middle School and West Middle School will be participate in One District, One Book, a district wide book club that encourages students and their families to read together at home.
Each family will receive a copy of Wilson Rawls, The Summer of the Monkeys and will be asked to read it together at home over the next few weeks.
PCPS is asking parents and guardians to make time to participate in this special reading initiative to promote literacy at home and throughout the community.
Team Radio’s Morning Show hosts on 99.3 FM KLOR and 100.7 FM KPNC will be reading along with students and their families and will discuss the book weekdays on each station during the Morning Show.
