TULSA, Okla. (AP) – Tulsa International Airport officials say nonstop flights to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Tampa Bay, Florida, are being added through Allegiant Air.

Before airport officials made the announcement Tuesday, the airport had nonstop flights to 16 cities.

The airline said in a news release Tuesday that it decided to add the services because of strong performances in the Tulsa airline market.

Service to Las Vegas via McCarren International Airport begins April 8 and will be year-round. Service to Tampa Bay, Florida, via St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport and Los Angeles via LAX will be seasonal. Service to both destinations will run two times each week.
