Fall Concert Scheduled Thursday

Mike Seals - October 25, 2022 6:53 am

On Thursday, October 27, the Po-Hi Symphony and Philharmonic Orchestras will present a Fall Concert at 7:00 p.m.
The students and directors will be dressed in costumes to add to this festive concert. The orchestras are under the direction of Paula Cochran and assisted by Katy Rolf and Cassidy Broome.
The orchestra is thrilled to host a costume contest that leads audience members dressed in costumes across the stage of the beautiful Concert Hall. Prizes will be awarded to the three best costumes of the night.
“The orchestra students love this concert which features them performing popular music like ‘Wellerman’ and ‘Thriller,’” said Cochran.
All ages are welcome to attend and there is no admission charge.
The Symphony Strings held their annual joint concert with the Stillwater High School Orchestra on September 27. The Symphony Orchestra is preparing for the OSSAA State Spring Orchestra Contest on Wednesday, November 16 at Edmond Santa Fe High School.
The next Ponca City performance for the Symphony will be a Holiday Concert with the High School Chorale and Symphony Winds on Monday, December 12, in the Ponca City Schools Concert Hall at 7:00 p.m.
