Cherokee Strip Golf Classic is September 8-10

The Cherokee Strip Golf Classic is the longest running free-standing pro-am golf tournament in the United States, benefitting the Opportunity Center in Ponca City, an incredible organization devoted to helping the developmentally disabled in Kay County be successful and “live life to the fullest”.

This event takes place at the Ponca City Country Club Golf Course and Wentz Memorial Golf Course September 8-10.

The Cherokee Strip Golf online auction is live now, and there are tons of amazing goodies this year to get your hands on. The silent online auction closes this Friday at 9 pm.

There are lots of golf goodies including a signed Taylor Gooch bag, 1988 PGA Player Card, Trails Golf Package, Branson Hills Golf Package, and two different vintage golf duffle bags.

For those sports and outdoors lovers, they have an OSU fire ring, OU fire ring, Hat Ranch Lodge Stay, and a Zip Line adventure.

Other items include a Vacumaid Garage vac, an adorable bistro table, and a $100 floral arrangement.

For the art collectors of the world, there are some amazing art pieces up for auction including an original Chelsea McConnell painting, three beautiful pieces by Nick White (Lydie Marland, Pioneer Woman, Standing Bear), and a Happy Warrior bronze sculpture. Lots of other great items too.
