State Of Oklahoma Executes James Coddington For 1997 Murder Of Albert Hale

The State of Oklahoma has executed death row inmate James Coddington for killing his co-worker and friend, 73-year-old Albert Hale, in 1997.
Coddington was executed by lethal injection and died at 10:16 a.m. on Thursday.
Coddington had been on death row for more than 20 years for killing the Navy veteran in 1997. He was convicted of First-Degree murder on August 4, 2003.
The death row inmate, who was 50-years-old at the time of his execution, was 31-years-old at the time he was received by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections in 2003.
Coddington was third person to be executed in Oklahoma in 2022.
Coddington’s last meal request consisted of two cheeseburgers, two crunchy fish sandwiches, two large fries and a large cola.
