988 Mental Health Lifeline Now Available in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services has launched the 988 Mental Health Lifeline to provide additional mental health services to all Oklahomans.

The direct, three-digit lifeline 988 connects you with trained behavioral health professionals that can get Oklahomans the help they need. It is the first step within a comprehensive crisis response continuum that enhances services received when someone experiences a psychiatric emergency.

Those calling or texting 988 will be connected with a mental health professional for a free and confidential conversation.
