February 9, 1930 – June 23, 2022

V. Maxine Bahm, 92 years old, of rural Kaw City, Oklahoma, went to join the Lord and her husband, Bob, in heaven on July 23, 2022. A Rosary Ceremony will be held at 6:00 PM, Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Trout Funeral Home Chapel. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 27, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Father Carson Krittenbrink officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.

Maxine was born at home in rural Berwyn, Oklahoma on February 9, 1930. Maxine was the fourth child of eleven born to CC Jones and Lottie Mae Cullens Jones. She graduated from Lone Grove High School in 1948. Went to college at the University of Central Oklahoma which is where she met her husband, Bob, of 71 years of marriage which began November 5th, 1949.

They lived in multiple homes until purchasing the farm in rural Kaw City, which became their permanent home of 68 years. They farmed and operated a fruit orchard while raising their 10 children to have admirable work ethics and life values which continue to this day.

Maxine is survived by her son, John Bahm and wife, Francine, as well as their daughter, Cresta Dunn and husband, son, John Galiano, daughter, Alisha Talon and husband, daughter, Sierra Bahm, son, Anthony Bahm and children, Brandy Bahm and significant other, son, Matt Bahm and significant other, daughter, Kelli White and husband, as well as son, Jesse Bahm and wife, son, Victor Bahm and children, son, Nathan Bahm and wife, Beth Schickram and husband, Rachel Guthrie and husband, daughter, Teresa Barbato and husband, her daughter, April Davis-Choney and significant other, Shane Davis and wife, Josh Davis and wife, daughter, Yvonne McGrath and husband, Tom, son Zac McGrath and wife, Ben McGrath and wife, daughter, Kathy Becker, son, Timothy Bahm and wife Elva, their children, daughter, Bobbi Martinez and husband, daughter, Gwen Robards and husband, daughter, Jacki Bludau and husband, Jeffrey Bahm and wife, daughter, Jo Lewis and husband, Mike, son, Michael Lewis and wife, daughter, Loretta Sookbang, daughter, Samantha Ware and husband, daughter, Meridith Sookbang, daughter, Kimberly Sookbang, son, Keith Bahm and children, son, Cary Carlton and wife, son, Chris Carlton, son, Bryan Carlton and wife. She had 47 great-grandchildren with another great-grandson due in September.

Maxine is also survived by her sister, Marcella Bray, to which she was like a second mother and brother, David Jones. She was proceeded in death by her husband Bob, parents CC Jones and Lottie Mae Jones, also 8 brothers and sisters. Maxine was extremely proud of the large family that she and Bob had created. She will be greatly missed. Honorary Pall Bearers will be her large extended family.
