Glenpool Man Arrested, Accused of Murdering His Wife

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office says a Glenpool man accused of murdering his wife was arrested Wednesday, June 1st.

Michael Christopher Jimenez, 41, is accused of murdering his wife, 40-year-old Erica Christine Jimenez, on Monday, May 31st, after reports she had jumped into Bird Creek and hit her head.

Deputies say Jimenez tried to tell authorities that she hit her head when she jumped into the creek, but after an investigation, the sheriff’s office said they found evidence that Erica Christine Jimenez had been severely beaten at another location prior to being taken to Bird Creek.

Jimenez has been arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail for first-degree murder.
