A Fundraiser Goat Rope and Cornhole tournament will be held Saturday May 14th in Newkirk to benefit Mason Wathor, a Newkirk FFA member and Newkirk high school Jr. who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer and is undergoing treatments in Oklahoma City.

The event will begin at 10am at the Newkirk Rodeo Arena just north of Newkirk with Goat Roping and Cornhole starts at 11am. There will be a silent auction throughout the day with some great items and a chuck wagon dinner from 4-7pm.

Entry for goat roping is $7 per person, cornhole cost is $20 for a 2 person team and the chuck wagon dinner is just $10. You don’t have to participate in the events if you just want to eat dinner and 100% of the dinner cost will go to the Wathor family for expenses.

All other proceeds will benefit Mason and his family in his fight to beat cancer.

Enter the morning of the event or call 580-304-6983 for more details.
