Bill Coleman Seeks Re-election to State Senate

State Senator Bill Coleman has filed for re-election to the Oklahoma State Senate District 10. Bill will be seeking re-election to his second term in office, first being elected in 2018.

About Senator Coleman

Bill Coleman is proud to represent Senate District 10, which covers all of Osage County and most of Kay County. He is a longtime Ponca City broadcaster and business owner.

He and his wife, Helen, live in Ponca City where he owns and operates Team Radio Marketing Group, which consists of seven radio stations in Ponca City and Stillwater. Helen is a financial adviser and teacher. The Colemans have three children.

Coleman is the past chairman of the Ponca City Area Chamber of Commerce, past chairman of the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters, past board member of the National Association of Broadcasters in Washington, and is a current member of the International Broadcasters Idea Bank.

Effective Leadership

Coleman serves as the Vice Chairman of the Business, Commerce and Tourism Committee and serves as a member of the General Government and Transportation Committee, Public Safety Committee, Senate Rules Committee and Transportation Committee. Bill is proud to stay true to his rural roots and conservative values in these positions and will continue to work hard to represent his constituents.

Senator Bill Coleman has this to say about his first term in office, “While I am very proud of legislation I’ve passed, I’m most proud of how my office helped Oklahomans in their day-to-day dealings in our great state. I’m especially proud of the work I was able to do to help my constituents get their unemployment benefits during the early days of the pandemic.”

Senator Coleman stands up for the right to life and the protection of our 2nd Amendment. He believes in stronger schools and is a proponent of supporting teachers with better pay and investing in public schools and classroom resources. As a small business owner, Bill is pro-business and economic growth and has continued to hold the line against burdensome taxes and regulation. As a rural legislator, agriculture and infrastructure are important to Bill. He will continue to support the invest in roads and bridges while protecting small town Oklahoma and our rural way of life.
