PC Main Street Awarded $50,000 T-Mobile Grant

Ponca City Main Street - March 24, 2022 2:56 pm

Ponca City Main Street is proud to announce that our community is one of 25 small and rural towns across the country selected to receive a T-Mobile Hometown Grant.

This investment from T-Mobile in the amount of $50,000 will go towards installing a synthetic ice-skating rink in our beautiful downtown this coming holiday season. The funds raised from this endeavor will be used to support other Ponca City Main Street initiatives, increase tourism, and create community connection.

T-Mobile Hometown Grants is a $25 million, five-year initiative to support the people and organizations who help small towns across America thrive and grow by providing funding to kickstart important new community development projects. Ponca City Main Street is excited that T-Mobile has made this commitment to small and rural cities, and thank not only T-Mobile, but all companies who want to help our communities continue to thrive and improve quality of life.

Ponca City Main Street and T-Mobile are hosting an official check presentation on Friday, April 8, from 12 – 1 p.m. at Veteran’s Plaza. The community is encouraged to attend and snacks will be provided.

Be sure to follow Ponca city Main Street on Facebook for up-to-date information and announcements.
