Ruth was born on January 14, 1939 to Refugio Monreal Bravo and Felipa Bravo of California. She worked at Ditch Witch for 22 years and retired as a tool cutter/grinder at the age of 63.

Ruth was well known in the community. She was always on the go doing things to help others. She was very involved in her church and a devoted Christian and reading her bible daily, living through God and every decision she made. She prayed for the Lord’s guidance and blessing. Ruth loved to be in the kitchen, making her famous burritos, tamales, enchiladas and fried apple pies. Along with keeping her grandsons stocked up with chocolate chip cookies. She loved to sit with her two dogs, Chula and Coco and cherished them both.

Ruth was a strong, dedicated, kind, and caring person. She lost her husband in august of 2021. They were happily married for over 64 years. She must have been waiting for him to call, she answered his call and went home to the kingdom of Heaven. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.
