Senator Bill Coleman Joined Woodlands Elementary Friday for Read Across America

State Senator Bill Coleman, Ponca City, visited Woodlands Elementary school today to read to 2nd graders.

This week Ponca City elementary students have been celebrating the annual event “Read Across America” which commemorates the March 2nd, 1904 birthdate of beloved author Dr. Seuss.

Students in Mrs. Linnebur ‘s and Mrs. Sacket’s classes enjoyed Senator Coleman’s reading of “Horton Hears a Who.”

Senator Coleman is also owner and operator of Team Radio which includes local Ponca City stations KLOR and KPNC. Team radio is also a Woodlands PIE Partner.
