Police Make Arrests and Take More Drugs off the Streets

Ponca City Police Department-

The Ponca City Police Department Special Projects Unit, assisted by the Kay County Sheriff’s Office, District 8 Task Force, Tonkawa Police Department, Fort Oakland Police Department, Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, arrested two subjects on the evening of March 1st.

Over a pound of methamphetamine, along with drug proceeds, packaging material, scales and other paraphernalia was recovered from their vehicle after investigators initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Interstate 35 and US Highway 60.

The individuals were arrested for Aggravated Drug Trafficking, Felony Escape from Custody, Obstructing an Officer and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
