February is National Cancer Prevention Month. There is only one vaccine that is proven to prevent cancer – the HPV vaccine. Human papillomavirus (HPV) impacts both men and women.
Cervical cancer is the most common HPV-associated cancer among women, and oropharyngeal cancers (cancers of the back of the throat) are the most common among men.
Ask your doctor today about getting the HPV vaccine to protect yourself from HPV-associated cancers.
