Wildcat Wrestlers To Face No. 1 Stillwater

Ponca City Wildcat Athletics-
The Ponca City Wildcat wrestlers will begin the Class 6A Dual State competition against No. 1-ranked Stillwater at 6 p.m. Friday, February 11th, at Enid’s Stride Bank Center.
All four of the Class 6A quarterfinal duals will be held simultaneously.
Besides Stillwater vs. Ponca City, the duals will be Edmond Memorial vs. Yukon, Bixby vs. Broken Arrow and Edmond North vs. Choctaw.
The semifinal round will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday with the championship duals on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
If Ponca City defeats Stillwater in the opening round, the team would advance to the semis and wrestle against the winner of Edmond Memorial and Yukon.
The wrestling team qualified for the Dual State Championships by winning the District Duals in January at Sand Springs.
