PCPS Will Have Distance Learning Day Thursday

Beverly Cantrell - February 2, 2022 1:06 pm

Ponca city Public Schools-

All PCPS school sites will be closed Thursday, February 3rd due to inclement weather. However, it will be a Distance Learning Day to count toward the state required instructional hours.

Teachers will post assignments on Google Classroom beginning at 8 am and will be available for support through email or Zoom during regular school hours from 8 am to 3:10 pm.

The National Weather Service in Norman, Oklahoma is calling for an additional snow in our area today. Given that temperatures will not be above freezing and additional snow is anticipated, safety is the top priority.

When school sites are closed for inclement weather, all activities are canceled.

Decisions regarding Friday, February 4 will be made no later than 3 p.m. on Thursday. Please stay connected through the PCPS App, Ponca City Public School Facebook page, www.pcps.us. and through local media outlets.

Stay safe and warm Wildcats!
