Richard Marlin Buffington

July 18, 1934 – January 27, 2022

Richard Marlin Buffington was born in Perry, Oklahoma, on July 18, 1934, to Ralph and Marie Buffington. He entered his heavenly home on January 27, 2022.

Richard enjoyed welding, quail hunting, fishing, talking about fishing, and a good cup of coffee.

In his later years he enjoyed selling scrap car parts which included trips to Arkansas with Evelyn and more than likely a trip to the Casino.

Richard is survived by his long time companion, Evelyn Thornbrue; brothers, Les Buffington and Robert Buffington, and his wife, Bonnie Buffington; his children, Cindy Au, Terry Lee, and Rodney Epp; three grandchildren; and four great-children.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Marie Buffington; his wife, Bobbie Buffington; son, Randy Buffington; sister, Betty Skalenda; sister-in-law, Maxine Buffington; and granddaughter, Ashley Au.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N. 7th Street, Perry, Oklahoma 73077.
