Oklahomans can now order at-home COVID-19 tests for free online through a new government website.

Some people started placing orders as early as Tuesday because the website launched a day early.

The website is COVIDTests.gov

Through the website, every residential address is eligible to order four rapid antigen tests for free.

The Biden Administration says the four-test limit is to make sure everyone in the country has access to the program.

The program will prioritize orders in communities experiencing a disproportionate rate of COVID-19 cases and deaths.

Federal health experts say they are confident in the U.S. Postal Service’s ability to gather orders and accommodate the surge in demand.

Postmaster General Louis Dejoy says they have been working closely with the Biden Administration and are well prepared to deliver the test kits.

The tests are expected to ship within seven to 12 days of ordering.

Health experts say it takes 30 minutes to get your results.

The White House says it also plans to launch a hotline that will allow people to order rapid tests over the phone if they have trouble ordering on the website.

COVIDTests.gov is available in Spanish and English.
