GUYMON, Oklahoma –

Fire crews have been working tirelessly over Wednesday and early Thursday morning to put out a major wildfire in Guymon.

On Wednesday afternoon, the area had to be evacuated due to the fires.

Our storm tracker, Val Castor, was there at the scene as the fire grew overnight.

Oklahoma Forestry Services says fire task forces will be on the fire throughout Thursday.
