Wednesday is expected to be the busiest travel day for road trippers from the air to the roads.

Here’s a list of which construction sites drivers need to watch out for.

The largest stretch of construction will be right through Paul’s Valley I-35 is narrowed down to one lane on both directions.

ODOT says US 81 is a good alternative route if you are heading to North Texas.

Travelers heading up to Tulsa, there is the construction between Sapulpa and the Creek Turnpike on the Turner Turnpike.

For drivers destined for SW Missouri, there are significant lane closures on I44 and US 75 junction.

ODOT also wants to make sure anyone catching a flight out of the state through the Will Rogers World Airport, please plan extra time driving there.

But for anyone driving this Thanksgiving, they ask you to limit distractions, put the cell phone down, and please watch out for construction workers.

For fans heading up north to Stillwater for the big Bedlam game, Saturday ODOT says to expect heavy traffic.

ODOT has resources available for those looking out for traffic: visit www.odot.org, follow @OKDOTon Twitter and Facebook. Or download their app at Drive Oklahoma.
