Reading, writing, and arithmetic: none of those subjects landed as the top-ranked favorite for Oklahomans in a new survey.

Private Tutoring At Home looked at eight common subjects studied in schools across the nation and analyzed the trends in Google searches over the last 12 months to determine each state’s favorite.

Oklahoma’s favorite school subject? Computer technology.

It’s not the most popular subject overall, though. Health was the most popular subject for 14 states.

Math and science reign in the northeast. Foreign language was the least popular subject in the nation, with only two states claiming it as their favorite (Oregon and Alaska).

Two states and D.C. had a tie for their favorite subject:

  • Kentucky: science and health
  • D.C.: history and science
  • Connecticut: English and math
