Brother arrested in connection with death

Late Friday night, Aaron Charles LeClair, age 32, was taken into custody in the killing of his brother, 29-year-old Arly Ryan LeClair.

Police were notified of the homicide at 12:29 p.m. Friday and responded to 901 North Pine. There they found the body of Arly Ryan LeClair.

The exact cause of death will be determined by the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office.

The investigation is continuing.

Ponca City Police are investigating the death of 29-year-old Arly Ryan LeClair.

Police received a 911 call reporting a homicide in the 900 block of North Pine Street, Ponca City, at about 12:29 p.m. Friday.

LeClair’s body was found in the back yard of his residence at 901 North Pine Street.

The investigation is continuing.

Police spokeswoman Sherry Bowers said the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office is taking part in the investigation. This is the third homicide in Ponca City this year, Bowers said.

Police are seeking information from anyone that may have heard any disturbance or noticed any activity Thursday night or early Friday morning near 901 N Pine. Anyone with information is asked to call 767-0370.
