The annual Ponca City Motoplayground Motocross Championships will be in Ponca City Thursday October 14th thru Sunday October 17th with some of the most amazing Dirt Bike culture ever assembled.
Thousands of racers from around the nation will be in town to participate in the event which is held at the Ambucs Motocross Track at 1005 West Prospect.
Vendors and premium parking users will be moving in on Tuesday. RV parking gates will open on Wednesday, creating a small city at the 101 Wild west Rodeo Grounds at Prospect and Ash.
Gates are open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with timed racing beginning at 9am on Thursday, 8am to 5pm on Friday, 10am to 5pm on Saturday, and racing begins at 8am on Sunday with gates open from 7am to 7pm.
Event passes are $70. Entrance fees are $20 per day and those three and under are admitted free. The promoters say that for anyone over 100 “we give you $5 bucks.”
Special events at 7pm on Saturday include an AMBUCS AmTRYKE and the World Championship Pit Bike races at 7:30 pm.
