From Ponca City Police Chief Don Bohon:
In an effort to clarify a large amount of rumors and misinformation I have heard this afternoon and evening,
I would like to make it clear that no weapons were found on the High School campus during this afternoon’s event.
The lockdown and Law Enforcement response were initiated based on threats against the school, made by a person who was not on the campus.
