The Ponca Tribe recently donated 17,000 masks to Ponca City Public Schools. Emily Cornell, the emergency management department of the Ponca Tribe, said they have been getting masks and hand sanitizer out to the community to keep them safe.

“Our children attend Ponca City Public Schools and we felt they should all be protected at school as well,” she said.

“We received a pallet of adult masks and brought four boxes, which totaled 2,000 per box, then we got a shipment of kid masks and I brought up another 3,000 each (17,000 masks total).”
