Kay County Resident Injured in Single Vehicle Accident

KAW CITY —

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Adam L. Faul, 33 of Newkirk was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred around 10:53 Wednesday night two miles west of Kaw City on Oklahoma highway 11.

Troopers report Faul, was traveling west in a 2017 Honda Accord on Highway 11 when he failed to negotiate a right curve. He then corrected to the left and ran off the roadway before striking a tree. The vehicle then rolled, landing on its top.

Faul was reportedly airlifted to St. Francis in Tulsa where he is admitted in critical condition with trunk internal and leg injuries. Troopers report driving under the influence as the cause of the accident.
