First Annual Senior Games to be Hosted by Ponca City Rec Plex

The Ponca City Aquatic and Family Center- YMCA, as it looked in 2010 when it opened. The complex is now known as the RecPlex.

Senior Games
Ponca City Parks and Recreation is hosting the 1st annual Ponca City Senior Games. The Games are scheduled to take place Sept 30th-Oct 3rd and are for participants 50 years or older (as of December 31, 2021). This Olympic-style event includes competitions in fitness, swimming, basketball, pickleball, golf, and more. The games will be a great way for seniors to be active, enjoy the thrill of competition, and socialize with other senior competitors. Participants must register as a participant of the Senior Games and for each individual event they wish to compete in. The fee to register for  Senior Games is $15, each event is $5 except for golf which costs $30. Registration to the games includes a t-shirt and entrance into the opening social that includes dinner. Non-participants can attend the opening social for $3 by registering as a guest.
