Man dies in holding area of Oklahoma County jail

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Authorities say that a man has died in the holding area of the Oklahoma County jail.

Jail officials say the man was detained in the area at about 4 p.m. on Thursday when staff saw that he was unconscious and provided medical assistance. The man was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.

No details about the man, including his name, have been released.
